The Impact of a Credit Score on Bankruptcy

Question: Does my credit report impact if I can file bankruptcy? In other words, do I need a certain credit score to be able to file for bankruptcy relief? By the way, how many credit bureaus are there?
Answer: We get these questions a lot. No, your credit score doesn't matter. You can file for bankruptcy with a high credit score or a low credit score. The three (3) major credit bureaus are Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.
